Being a cab driver is a tedious and thankless job. Think about it.. they pick up tones of people every night and watch them walk in their front doors and they get nothing. It's like going on multiple bad dates every night. They pick them up, try to make conversation with people who clearly don't want to give them the time of day and drop them off at home without so much as a good night kiss. Shitty deal I tell you.
So anyways to make a long story short, those little cab meetings are not just friendly conversation. Those are invitations to inact The Cab Driver Code. For those of you unaware of this code I shall briefly explain the basic concept. Basically it states that when contact is initiated by one particualr cabbie the other is obligated to join him/her in a night of wild pleasure in order to to keep up job morale etc.
How do I know all this you might ask? Well I can not reveal my sources but I swear to you every word of it is true. The proof however I do have for it was not so long ago on this very night when Mags and I drove by the gas station and witnessed two cabs parked next to eachother. Upon further investigation I discovered that the driver of one of the cabs was in the passenger seat of the other cab looking down towards something BELOW the dash. I giggled a little bit and then slowly glanced over in the direction of the store. I realized that the clerk was also missing from his usual post behind the counter. Could it be? Was he invoilved in this kinky cab driver threesome? Is there another part of the cab driver code that I am not aware of that extends past cab drivers themselves and on to convience store clerks? This part of the mystery is currently unsolved but take comfort in knowing that the world is becoming a kinky place .. one cab driver at a time!
