(no subject)
Hello there.
In school today, all the periods were shortened so we could go see Rachel Simmons speak, the author of Odd Girl Out. She was really good, and made really head-on points about how girls can be in middle school. She was funny too :D I had 2 questions to ask her, but didn't get picked ((-Did you get to meet the actors in the movie Odd Girl Out? [Alexa Vega and some other girl I know were in it, and they're pretty famous sooo...] and -How long have you wanted to be a writer?)) I want to be a writer, so I kind of wish I'd gotten to talk to her a little more, but only the girls in the Girls in the Middle club got to talk to her, I think, which I find extremely unfair.
Besides that, it's really rainy out and doesn't feel like a Friday. :-{ I think I'll re-design my LJ. I'm ready for a change.
To-Do List:
-go to Wal*Mart and buy beads for a necklace I'm making
-make a collage
-figure out what haircut I want
