School Weary
Wow. So, Dooce is celebrating 12 years on her website, and I realized I'd been reading it for 8 of those 12, which made me connect that I've been on LiveJournal for 8 years. I passed through most of young adulthood writing here. Granted for the past 4 years I haven't been writing much. And recently I expressed being tired of school and I realized I've been going to school every semester (that's 3 semesters a year) since August of 2010. And before that, with maybe two semester's break, since 2003 or so. I suppose I could even go back and look at livejournal to check it out, but I believe I started before tags. LoL. And it occurs to me that I wrote a similar entry at some point in the last 12 months, referencing how long I've been in school and how tired I am of it.
If I get accepted into advanced standing and the substance abuse certificate program I have to start this summer with 2 classes. I get weary just thinking about it.
