Its been too long...

I've been off into my own world for the past few days. I've noticed that I do this if I don't get any alone time for a while. Which had happened since I had went to camp and then hung out with Luc a bunch and then some more things that I shall continue on with today.

Sat 9th
The weekend started and it was raining. Emilie and I wanted to do things this week and just hang out Monday and Tuesday. She was supposed to go 4wheeling and fishing with her father and boyfriend. With the rain, it canceled all of that. So instead I offered to go pick her up and we could hang out all weekend and she could go back to school shopping with her mom on Monday as she wanted. So I drove one hour to go get there and then of course one hour to get back into town. First we went and shopped in the mall, ate more junkfood. (I'd been eating out a lot that week already...good god). After the mall we went to pet smart. Emilie hadn't been there in ages and well..I hadn't been there since they moved places. How can I say this...they had kittens! Kittens! ohhh Mom, why won't you let me have a little kitty cat of my own? Its not fair when you'd really appreciate having a pet, you're not allowed to have one. Doubt I'll be able to have a cat when I move out since most places don't like animals... oh well...they were so darn cute anyway. Too bad most of them were sleeping. Except for this little black one that would follow Emilie's finger when she pointed to it.

Afterwards we headed into Linen and things and I swear we could of stayed in that store for ever. Neither of us are on our own yet but it was SO fun to look at all the utensils we would buy that our parents would never use. I for one, want a good chef knife because I love those things. I always use the biggest knife in our set here at home. Downside to the set we have, they all have little teeth in them that make it hard to cut certain things. Raw meat especially... Anyway, after having spent at least an hour in there and within the first 10 minutes at least 4 people asked us. "Is there anything you're looking for? May I help you?" It was rather annoying since they weren't asking the old ladies, just us. So eventually I got my hands on a shaker I'd like to call it...to make drinks and martinis. I've always wanted to make spiffy drinks...I think I'm going to have to get my smart serve though. haha! Once I had that in my hands, they all left me alone. There were more staff running around than customers!

Next, of course we HAD to stop at Micheals. Where we bought things to make cookies like cookie cutters and frosting. I also bought two prisma color markers. A new light blue color and the light blue I always use and I'm afraid will soon dry up. I also bought some bamboo paint brushes to do some inking with them. I've tried it and let me tell you that its fun and can look nice but practice is needed. The Halloween stuff was out and I was so giddy when we went through it all. I was sad that there was nothing that really caught my eye enough to bring home.

We then went to Chapters. How could I not want to go to Chapters? Emilie wasn't much into anything I was but since she wasn't really going to buy anything until she was with her mum, she didn't mind following me to my stores. I looked through the store and the only place I found stuff was in the bargain section. I got 3 manga books from 5 to 3 dollars each and the anatomy book for 12 dollars. It was wonderful indeed!

Afterwards we still had time to kill before going to the movies. Yes we were going to the movies. It was our plan from the beginning. We went to DQ, bought some blizzards and went back to the car since it was pouring again and simply ate in the car. We felt like dorks until other people did it too. The only place to sit there was outside...yeah car was better.

When we went to the movies, we wanted to see "Tropic Thunder" Since its what was displayed on the website. Guess what, no where to be found on there. It was coming out in a few days, the website had made a mistake... So then we decided to go see Hancock. Wonderful movie by the way! I hadn't the slightest idea what the movie was about before I entered the theater. We had to wait though, there was still tons of time between when we got there and when the movie started. So we played in the arcade. At least 3 machines ate our tokens...LAME.

After the movie we headed home and chilled there. I let Emilie play Super Paper Mario as I watched and helped her along the puzzles. Over all it was an eventful day!
-------------------------------------------

Next morning we had breakfast and waited around a little since it was Sunday. None of the stores were open really. We went to the buck store first and got some shot glasses and martini glasses. We were both hoping for those funky plastic ones but we ended up only finding the glass ones. Afterwards we went to the grocery store and got all the juices and garnishes for our drinks and some sugar cookies mix of course. It was obvious we were going to go make drinks...cute. lol We then headed to the LCBO and got all the other booze we needed for the drinks we wanted to make and then headed home.

We started making the cookies and found out that our cookie cutters weren't working well with the sugar cookies. We don't make cookies often enough you see...oh well. I'll just use them at Christmas and Halloween then.  The icing was fun, we both enjoyed it. Emilie got tired of decorating when she couldn't find anymore ideas half way through. Daddy was having just a little bit too much fun with the camera once he spotted us decorating the cookies. And the cookies...most never made it to the decorating phase lol They were eaten before they could. At the end when our fingers were sore, we decided to let the last two batches be plain. I know my dad doesn't like the frosting.

After supper around 7. We started to figure out what drinks we were going to make. Needless to say, things didn't go all that great. The drinks were ok but hey, none of us were experts at this thing. I couldn't stand anything strong or with peach shnaps in it. Eventually we had gotten some bad news from someone we knew and it was a real downer so we stopped drinking and went to watch a movie instead. We have TONS of booze left over since we hardly drank any. Oh well... more for when Christmas comes around I suppose.  We won't have to buy anything. =D

------------------

Monday came around and Emilie went off to go shopping with her mom and little sister. I went to get a DQ cake for the guys at work since one of the guys was leaving and...leaving far. So it was a good bye party for him and I was happy to be with the old gang again, all of them. I know I don't work with them anymore but I'll be seeing them around anyway. It was a wonderful night. We talked about just about everything and anything. We took the night relaxed and just had fun. We even went to MCDonalds for supper and brought it back to the office to eat together. Then we just spent the entire night talking and having some fun. Mel and I ended up playing gin while the boys had fun playing good ol fashioned Risk. I couldn't follow it for the life of me and Mel either, so we were fine in our corner.

---------------------

The day after I went and hung out with Luc again and we got him his groceries which was just fine. He didn't buy too much and then we headed to his place to play this odd game with giant ants in it. We had ordered pizza and everything was going fine until I just got horrible pains in my abdomen. I tried to let it pass but after a while I just couldn't. So I kinda said bye quickly and went home. I was sick like that for at least a few days after. I'm not sure if it was the junk food I had been eating or if it was some of the yellow beans I had eaten from my aunt's garden. Either way, I avoided both like the plague.

---------------

Now, during the last few days when all of this was going on, I had slowly been going through my entire bundle of clothes to see what fit, what I would actually ware and what was torn or stained. I ended up tossing at least more than half of my clothes. After that it was a matter of going shopping with mom and we got around 350$ worth of clothes. Some were on sale, thankfully. I had tried so many clothes, it wasn't even funny. I also was just getting over being sick so I didn't want to stay too long either. I got two pairs of jeans, and a lot of shirts. Most having to be paired up with an undershirt and what not. Its all clothes I feel actually compliment my shape. I'm all set up for school now so there is nothing to worry. If I need anything else...theres supposed to be a sale in September, I'll go then. =3 My wardrobe is now really small compared to before but its all things I'll actually wear. Mother had fun cutting up the stuff that wasn't worth giving and actually snagged a few tanktops to herself before letting the rest of my family have at it.

This is a little over half of what I took out. =D

Some of my new stuff <3

---------
I really hadn't done too much other than I believe it was gah...Saturday? I went to Bingo with Jon and Tanya. It was fun and just plain odd. I won 9 dollars and it cost me 20 to be there, go fig. lol It was fun none the less. It was really relaxed as we were dabbing away. We laughed and talked the entire time on our own little table. We then went to McDonalds again and they both got food while I had just gone to get something for Luc like he had asked. Poor guy was still at work with no food, so we brought him some. =D

Annnnd from then on I've been lazing around at home, drawing and just playing games, relaxing. I know it won't last for long...leave me this moment...XD
