My First Engagement Post!
Wow this is special. I haven't used this thing in forever but now that I'm engaged to be married I wanted to start writing down everything that is going on so I can look back on it one day and remember how much stress I went through.
So Engaged! I know that I don't use this blog but so if anyone reading this, yeah right besides me, doesn't know. A little over a year ago I met Grayson and you can say it was one of those whirlwind relationships where everything happens at once.
So how did I know he was the one? He makes me laugh, he makes me angry and we practically have the same birthday. We just clicked right from the start and we've been together ever since.
So that brings me to the wedding date. My birthday is July 10, Gray's is July 11 what better day to have the wedding then July 12. I mean come on it's too perfect. Even I couldn't plan that one better if I tried.
We got engaged when we were at the beach this past week. He took me out on the beach and we were standing with our feet in the water, the moon over head it he just looked at me and said "Julie will you marry me?" He didn't go down on one knee or anything like that but he and I really haven't been traditional our whole relationship, why start now?
So now the fun begins. I've got one year to plan the best wedding ever and I'm so excited. My mom wants to take me looking for wedding dresses and there is a big bridal convention going on in Greensboro in Aug that I'm definitely going to. This is just so perfect.
Think that's all for tonight b/c I've got to get up early in the morning.
