Well, it's done, my boy has bought a house! It's pretty and has a huge back yard with a tiny 12' above ground pool. You should see the bathroom, Julie's in heaven! Unfortunately, it's quite a ways outside of Montreal, so... With Julie wanting to go back to school, I can't afford to buy a car and the public transportation toget me from here to there

Glad to hear that things are going (sorta) well. I was wondering how the house discussions had turned out! So this means you will be in the apartment that we stayed at in Aug? That was a nice place, and you can't argue much with only a $15 increase in rent. :) Dishwasher is a bonus as well...we just got one, and I'm still telling Corey daily how much I love it! :)

Whereabouts is Daniel's new house?

I'd forgotten how much you like Hallowe'en....have a great time! I, sadly, will be in a hotel in Saskatoon on Hallowe'en this year, so no big celebrations for me (the kiddo will be trick-or-treating with her Dad).

Glad to hear that your Mom is doing a little better...I didn't realize that she had gotten work since the last post you made about it. She's a tough cookie....she'll pull through.

Not sure when you're coming into Ottawa, or how long you're staying, but maybe we'll try to hook up a coffee when you're here? Sat afternoon or Sunday late morning maybe? Let me know...if not, I'll just have to find an excuse to come visit you in your "new to you" place.

Yep, that would be the one, wher eyou stayed in August. :) Defenitely can't argue... just sda now that I have to wait until next June to move in there... can't wait to be able to get some decent sleep again! As for Daniel's house, it's in Terrebonne... half way between Montreal and Repentigny (where his mom lives) or otherwise about 40 minutes outside of Montreal... that's the "not so fun" part...

Ya, Mom is doing well, but with dad's business not working out so good, he's down and it makes mom down and then it's just not a very good mood around there. Really hope my dad will pull through with something. God knows he of all people deserves it.

As for this weekend, not sure if it'll work. I'm coming down Friday night, but at Angela and Holly's party and spending thenight there. Saturday I gotta carve pumpkins for my mom and help her prep food for her party... Which means I probably won't be up very early Sunday, and then I gotta head back... sigh. But, I want to come home more often, at least once a month, and I promess, next time I come down in November you'll be the first one to know!
