with jacobs mother

i heard a scream,
looked out the window,
in the middle
of boradway
a guy was laying
in the street
he had been hit by a car
i started crying
and shaking
i ran to the phone
but never dialed 911
i was too hysterical
shaking too much
he lived.
accidents are
scary.
