My name is Zelda, Princess and Regent of Hyrule.

Before being brought aboard, Hyrule was in turmoil due to Ganondorf's desire to rule. He brought upon us a plague from the TWilight Realm that caused my people to move as spirits, ghosts. Lake Hylia has been turned to ice, and Kakariko has burned.

I myself was kept prisoner in a tower in my own castle, due to his threat of bringing a mass genocide to my people were I to resist.

[That must be why she hadn't contacted her. Of course, Nabooru doesn't know that there are two different Zeldas, but that's a good reason accept for why neither of them had.]

I do not, no. I am afraid that you and I have not met before. It is possible you have met my ancestor, as she is aboard this vessel as well.
