We just drew names for our "optional" gift exchange at work. I drew the name of a guy whose tastes I kinda know somewhat. I know he has a pretty good sense of humor, cause I recommended Shaun of the Dead and he loved it. Oh, and he golfs alot. Don't know much else, so I'm not sure what to give him. I'm looking to you all for some suggestions.
I would consider myself an "advanced beginner" knitter who has never attempted cable knitting (and at this time am not ready to tackle it). I have had some success with circular kneedles but prefer to use knitting looms for circular knitting. I have less than two weeks, so if you suggest a knitting project, please make it something not too complicated.
I can also sew and follow a pattern, and I have my own sewing machine and serger, so that's an option as well. I'm not much at drawing or painting, though...
The maximum for the gift is $15, which would definitely buy cool yarn or fabric if I didn't have what I need (although I do have ALOT of both on hand)... my creative juices just aren't flowing right now, so I could definitely use some suggestions...
anyone?
