Not Much in my Life

Nov 11, 2004 15:40

Not much has gone on with me for the last few days other than that I got into and out of a relatively important fight with one of my best friends. See, we have these "movie nites" every weekend and he always makes me feel sorta made fun of, singled out, and rejected, and so I started asking him why and he just says "it's a joke, don't worry," but then he makes OTHER jokes that say, "I said I wouldn't make jokes," when he made fun of me. Then, two of my other friends asked him about it and he says, "She thinks I'm the mean one! It's her!" And so we didn't talk for three days. He's my lab partner in Science class, so that was a little awkward, but finally I convinced him to say he was sorry, and now we've got to keep pressuring him to stop acting like it's all my fault, which it's not.

Being the weirdo freak I am, I just finished reading The Grim Grotto, Series of Unfortunate Events Number 11...it's really sort of stupid, but they're so fun if you just want a quick read.

I think that my US History class should take a field trip to see National Treasure. So what if it's all fake...it's about Washington, D.C. (sort of) and we go on a trip there in late May...okay, so there's absolutely NO point in seeing it with school, but, hey, one of the teams last year went to see Shrek 2 which has NO educational content whatsoever. Speaking of "educational content," we have a "team day" tomorrow, so we're watching 1776 and then answering questions about it. My US History teacher said that it wasn't an awesome flick because it's two and a half hours of old guys dancing and singing, but having "team day" means we don't have any homework due Friday, which is great.

Poor little Jewellesie woke up this morning more congested than the last few days, so I've been sniffling and coughing all day. I'm missing gymnastics tonight, but I'm thinking I'll rent a chick flick...maybe Romeo and Juliet. I'm in a Shakespeare/romance mood, which is really going to show in story numero tres, Isabella, because a major plot twist is going to come out of her being cast as Juliet in a village production...mwahahaha!

Well, I just got back from eyebrow waxing *bleck!* but the lady who took care of me was really nice and gentle and it was the least painful waxing I've had, not to mention it was at the place that's wax works really well with my skin. So, I'm sniffling and my eyebrows are still kind of pink...oh well. They match my nose! *lol*

I don't know if I'll be able to post before I leave tomorrow night at 5:30 for Virginia. I'll be gone until late Saturday night, so I'll probably post on Sunday morning. Love, xox**Jewelles**xox
