I joined up another beta Hellgate: London. Apparently the developers of the game are the core developers from the Diablo Series. Sweet!
It'll be interesting I'm sure. I'm in a real gaming mode as of late. Meaning I want to play things other than WoW. I blame Kevin mostly, since he and maxine have left wow, it's pretty much nothing to do except run lowbie runs and farm. We'll the good though I have been racking up some gold. So I might actually get an epic flying mount before the turn of the century.
At some point this weekened, I want to pick up The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. It looks awfully cute. I've almost beat The New Super Mario Bros. last castle in World 8. Though I did skip a few places in world 4 and 7...Eventually I'll get them all cleared out as well. Mini Castle 2 in world 8 was a bitch though. It's the one with a moving walkway. Drove me nuts. I always manage to jump just a lil too far and fall into spikes.
Yesterday, I went to Sanrio to pick up a couple gifts for my niece's birthday. I was in there like 20 minutes or so, then went to check out and realized I left my wallet in my car. So I huffed it out to the car and found it oh just right out in the middle of the seat. *smooooth* Anyways, I ran back in and was like "do you take discover?" and the one clerk in a smart ass tone replied "This is discover mills!". Granted, I realize I was foolish for asking, but there was no need to be a bitch about it. I was frazzled from leaving my wallet in the car. Argh, I just wanted to slap the twit, but I just ignored the comment and went on my merry way. Of course, I'm fumbling my way out the store Chris calls and I perform my usual juggling act of trying to insert a receipt in my wallet while holding my phone, bag, purse, and keys. Sometime I think I need to slow it down a bit.
Anyhoo, I avoided seeing Brooke last night since the OS (original Succubus) was over @ Daryl's. Brooke fully understood why I didn't want to come over and almost think she'd rather come over to my house anyways. Tonight, however, I'm going to stop by and drop off her presents and wish her a proper birthday. I think I'll pick up some cupcakes on my way over or something. :)
On the plus side of last night I did get to watch Heroes and another episode of Chuck, which is freakin' hilarious. So glad I don't have to endure "Deal or no Deal" again this season while waiting for Heroes to come on. All I can say about last nights heroes is...OMIGOD!! the toe scene about made me gag, but was quite funny. Bah! I wish I could see the whole season already. It seriously drives me bonkers at the end of each episode.
