If your thoughts are standing in your way of happiness, you must figure out how to change what you think. But don't blame anyone else. It's time to face the music that you are playing.
Anyway, Council holiday party was amazing. Three rooms of catered food, open bar, and games. Peoples true colors came out at the after party, which was the best part. My coworker Lawrence gave me a goal for the evening but unfortunately I didn't accomplish it. The goal was to obtain a guy's phone number. Hah. So sad. I will someday.
Tomorrow I have one more holiday party with the theater folks. Maybe I'll accomplish my goal at this one. ;)
Almost done with the xmas shopping. I've spent over $200 so far but I'm so grateful. For the first time, I'm able to afford presents for those who have given me in the past 24 years, especially my parents. I let my mom keep the money I loaned her plus I bought her and my dad a very nice phone for the house. I bought my dad a walkman cause he's still old school plus a pair of sunglasses.
I need a change of hair...again. Might do that at the end of this week.
This picture was taken at Rockefeller Center. I thought the sea of coins (mostly pennies) was pretty neat.
