Yay for playing politics.
So, Tejrinde goes unpunished and is overtly, publicly defended by Xaviara, who has driven away Tallare, our one useful-good-fair-awesome admin. To this I say: fuck. this. noise.
Tallare says she will come back if Xaviara steps down and Tejrinde is banned. I can't imagine anyone at this point having a problem with that.
Here are some possible courses of action:
1. Sucking it up and dealing with a site effectively run to cater to Tejrinde's whims and ego. As far as I am concerned, this is not an option.
2. Starting a new site with forums and moving all of our materials over there. Speaking for myself, if I leave the site, I'm taking every class I've run, every thread in Camellia, and every article I wrote or edited for the Library with me. Think for a minute about the Library on the Main Site without any of my contributions. Yeah. This does entail some effort and expense, as servers cost money, especially one with as much traffic as ours.
3. A petition asking Xaviara nicely to step aside for Tejrinde. I think this would have to have more or less all the active members sign it for it to even have a chance, given her behavior so far.
4. Everyone on TDA acting as though Tejrinde is banned already. Do not respond to her posts or her PMs; don't count her vote in the Court. Ignore her so thoroughly that she gets no interaction. I'm liking this as a course of action while we sort everything else out, regardless. I know I have nothing to say to her other than streams of insults that will probably just go over her head, anyway.
Further suggestions are welcome, as are refinements, comments, and general venting. Comments are open to everyone, but if they get abusive of anyone other than Xav or Tejrinde, I will delete them. Commence the planning.
For the record: I sent the report linked below to Xaviara and Tallare about a week ago (last Sunday). Tallare supported demoting Tejrinde due to her excessive, consistent violations of the Code of Conduct. Xaviara refuses to discipline Tejrinde because they are friends IRL. Tallare has left the site because she is sick of this bias and preferential treatment.

Edited to add: It looks like Xav has restored the forums. Let's all play along nicely for now -- Tallare has a plan that she says will take a few days to implement, but as she says, "TDA will rise again better than ever." I for one can't wait.
Also, in terms of saving threads, there are two options. One is to simply highlight, copy, and paste into a text file. This will preserve all text but won't save links or image codes. The other is to use the 'save page as' option, which should be either under the File menu or available through a right-click. Using this option will create a folder which will contain all the images on the page as well as an html file of all the coding, text, etc. You will be able to open this html file and have it load all the images locally, from your folder, meaning it will work even if the page has been deleted.
Edited again: I can't access the site. K`shandra can't access the site. I could for about fifteen minutes, then I started getting a SQL error every time I tried to load a page. (1) Please let us know if this is happening for you/when this stops happening. (2) THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO RUN A WEBSITE BUT ARE TECHNOLOGICALLY RETARDED.
