I have finished my epic Black Jewels readthrough plus notetaking.
I have purchased and read (for the first time) Mists of Avalon. There are things about it that I like, and also a great many things about it I didn't. There will probably be a detailed post about this at some point.
Rachel and Mom are coming to see me this coming up weekend, which is incredibly awesome. I've got my work schedule in order enough to spend a good amount of time with them.
I am immersing myself in the final stages of research for my China paper, which is why I'm not on messenger services these days. I've just got a very full plate. In three weeks or so, after the research and the paper-writing and the trip itself and the conference, I may have something vaguely resembling leisure time.
As disappointing as it is not to be spending hours and hours online for kicks, I am kind of enjoying having a life outside the computer, full of things to do (even though some of them are highly stressful).
family,
borders,
travel plans,
china-ness,
sun and rose,
internet time wasting,
ravenclaw,
literary snobbery
