poo. someone, i think, stole my yogurt at work. either that or i recently bought expired yogurt. thank goodness today is a lunch and learn, which means that any leftovers from it are up for grabs, and seeing as I am the person who cleans up lunch and learns, i get first dibs!

see, doing office bitch work most certainly has its perks, and i am glad that I am the type of person to look at the sunny side of things!

another perk of office bitch is when there are things that are to be thrown out, i get the option of keeping it. so right now i'm collecting all shades of blue carpet for my sister. her grade is blue for classnite and they are seniors on the seven seas. i figure by may i can get a large amount of blue carpet, which they can put on the floor to represent water. that would be friggin hot!

we got fish this weekend! sadly, lauren's fish died, but it's certainly not her fault because the water was too cold for it. all the fish except for mine are supposed to be in water that's a min of 72 degrees. mine can be at a min of 68. this morning, the tank was at a cold 64. so i'm surprised that the rest of the fish lived! my black moor, othello, is adorable. and i know that his name kicks ass too. next time we go to the fish store i'm going to get him a desdemona.

tonight i'm making chicken salad again for dinner...i love that stuff. stole the recipe from south street creamery. now i can have it whenever i want mwa ah ah!

leaving work at 2:15 on friday so i can have some time to relax before we leave for virginia. i can't wait to see brent and mooney, and their new place, and to go to busch gardens! i havne't been there since i was a kid, and even then i only went once, and i liked it a lot. and now that i can drink and be on my own, i'm going to like it even more! i wish notti could go, but she has her own exciting things going on, like moving into her very own manhattan apartment! can't wait to see it, even though that won't be for a few weeks.

so all of a sudden i have the travel bug again, and i'm really itching to go someplace, or at least plan to go someplace. and there are so many places that i want to go i can't really decide what to do! i'm pretty sure i have 2 weeks off each year from work. i'd like to do one big vacation for a week, and then use the other for a day here and there. for example, i'm going to the second day of the wesminster kennel club dog show on feb 15 so i want that day off. also, i want july 5th off, so i can enjoy my party.

here are the places that i'd like to go:

-a trip with friends from school, which i think will most likely be a long weekend kinda thing. talk is about renting out a house, either on the shore or at woodloch springs, and bringing food and relaxing. that way it is cheap, not too far, and people don't have to take many days off...only one or two.

-visiting barbra/disney. the idea is to go to florida state with barbra after her winter break which is around jan 5th. that's a wednesday, so i'd stay till friday, and then we'd drive over to orlando which is 3 hours away and stay in a nice hotel for the weekend. problem with this is jetblue doesn't go to tallahassee, so the flights will be expensive, and the parks and hotels will be a tad costly. plus that's an added 3 days off at least.

-colorado or some state in the midwest. this woudl be an incredbly kickass trip. i had so much fun on my mini road trip with matt. and i've never seen real mountains. and i keep hearing out beautiful colorado is. and i'd like to do a train trip. and if i'm flexible with where i'm going an dwhen i'm going as far as time goes. with 2 weeks notice as well. i can get 70-90 percent of train tickets. i'm talking ny to colorado round trip for 160 bucks! so i don't know if friends want in on that, but id be satisfied if i can at least get matt to go.

-i also want to visit my cousin alyson in albany, which is a weekend trip, or its possible to do it on my train trip.

so those are my ideas. i think the lunch and learn is over, so i gotta get in on that!
