Last week I thought I was going to die. I'm not doing well in this optics block, although I thought that I would and it's upsetting me because I want to get a good grade. Plus I had lots of essays to write and I was just stressed. But then I realized that we had a FOUR day weekend! Which is crazy, and awesome. So yesterday after school Eli, Henry and I decided to go to the de Young museum, but then we got there and decided to go the Conservatory of Flowers instead because neither Eli nor I had been before. It was super cool and there was a special exhibit on orchids which are simply beautiful and erotic. And then we tried to go to the de Young but it was closed so we went to Eli's and rented "The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys" which was pretty good but sad. And I missed part of it because Malcolm called me all upset so I went out of the room to talk to him. But yeah it got too late and I didn't want to take the bus home by myself, because i'm starting to realize that that isn't a good idea for me to do late at night alone. So I ended up sleeping over at Eli's and it was tite because we totally had a sleepover and we slept in til like 12 today. Then we just got up and drank tea and took showers and read the paper and stuff and then we went out and ate some food and went to Eli's mom's house where they tried to teach me how to play magic and then Alistair came over and drove me down to Chestnut St. on his way to the bridge and I took the bus home. So now I'm just waiting for Mary to call me up and let me know when we're going rollerskating tonight.
I'm reading this book called Cunt that's really interesting. It's about women and how their sexuality has been repressed and everything. It's a good book, all women should read it.
Tomorrow I'm going to Henry's with a bunch of people to paint some cups to sell at the crafts fair to fundraise for our class trip. And then Henry's going to help me with optics stuff because he's so god damn smart and I'm not. So this is just going to be a Henryful weekend. Which is tite, Henry's awesome. Hanging out with Henry and Eli was just about the chillest twenty four hours of my life.
