[Jewel is in what amounts to the inn's backyard, where she's attending to Sulky. The cow, she has come to realize, is the only creature in the whole of Hyrule who particularly has any sort of need for her. She needs to be milked, and fed, have her little stall cleaned, and occasionally be somewhat groomed. Jewel is best suited for this task; the cow likes her best, having lived with her the longest.
It isn't that she thinks the others hate her -- most of them, at least -- but rather that she just doesn't know. Shad alone seems usual of them all; she rarely sees the younger Zelda or Ashei. Linksha barely even seems to know she's there. She makes bread and soup, keeps the inn stocked with firewood and vegetables, and goes on.
And Harper...Harper is gone. The hut is empty, the Sheikah vanished without a trace. She can only assume he's gone back to his own Hyrule, his own Zelda. She wishes him joy of her, and swallows the shards of her broken heart, and goes on.
Even Ganondorf no longer wants her, can't forgive her for walking out of the castle. He made no effort to stop her, but he doesn't wish her back again either. She goes on.
So she's alone. A Princess and her cow. Both go through the motions of life, and one may have forgotten what it is to live.]
