Fall means TV of course

So the new fall lineup has started and I feel inclined to give my opinion on several new and returning shows.

How I met your Mother- It's back and its better than ever. I really missed this one. Thumbs up!
Big Bang Theory- It's been awhile (with the exception of HIMYM) since I have laughed this hard at a sitcom. Intelligent and funny, refreshing. Thumbs up!
Chuck- I don't this this 24/Office fusion works. How can you infuse comedy with ridiculous drama and plot line? This does not work at all, didn't even get through the whole episode. Big thumbs down, I usually can sit through the full first episode of anything.
Beauty and the Geek- It's ridiculous I know, but I have my vices. This cast isn't as great as in seasons past, but I'm sure it will just take time to warm up to them. Thumbs up!
America's Next Top Model- I know once again I am ridiculous, but I ask you what can top Tyra and her ridiculousness? It's so worth it! Thumbs up!
Gossip Girl- is every gay man's new crack and I just love love love it. It feels the void of The OC and Gilmore Girls, it's another guilty pleasure. Thumbs way up, I actually look forward to next week's episode.
Reaper- Kevin Smith is a genius and I would watch anything he makes. It's gotten great reviews and for good reason. Check it out. Thumbs up!

FYI, I have Heroes TiVoed but have not gotten to watch it, though I am sure it will be as great as it was last season.

More shows left to watch (set for series recording this season):

Dirty, Sexy, Money- I know the promotion for this new show has been over the top, but it has Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) in it and I trust his taste in projects.
Private Practice- Personally I think this is going to outperform Grey's Anatomy this year. I thought the initial concept wouldn't work (I didn't think Addison could carry her own show) but the preview last season was actually better than most Grey's episodes.
The Office- Pam and Jim? Please get together, pretty please!!!
Ugly Betty- No explanation needed I feel.
Grey's Anatomy- I'm not sure how great this will be this season, but I just love George and Izzie so I must continue to watch!
Desperate Housewives- So the promo for this season has been really really bad, but I just love the show so we will see where it goes.

New shows farther out on the horizon:
Cashmere Mafia- Constantly being compared to Sex in the City, I think this show has a different angle that could be successful if people stop comparing it to something it's not.
Samantha Who?- Really just because it has Jennifer Esposito and Jean Smart in it.
Pushing Daisies- Been getting great reviews and looks intriguing. I'll give it a shot.
Project Runway- Once again do I really need to explain?

Now before you go acting all judgmental about all the TV watch remember I have a TiVo and watch all these shows at my convenience. I know I watch way too much TV but its what I do sorry.

Let me know what you think of some of the above shows, I'd love to get your opinion.
