Man, two days in and I am already dying. If I have to be on campus every day at about 7 or 8, I am going to die. It's not getting up so early that is the issue it is the staying out of my apartment every night till practically midnight. I don't know how long I am going to be able to keep this schedule up. I hate being tired in the evenings but I seriously have no choice when I am up and going for soooo looooong.
Working for the Newspaper is cool. I'm really excited, I told the A&E editor that I like perfomance art and to throw any of those articles my way. I am already going to go see a play in San Francisco (sort of The Glass Menagerie meets A Raisin in the Sun). I get to interview the playwright and the director, so that should be interesting.
I like writing for the paper because you get the chance to meet a lot of really interesting people on campus. Just today I met the President's Aide and she was extremely friendly, so it made the interview go very smoothly.
I'm really starting to get a feel for this stuff, I just need to make sure I get enough sleep so I can do it all. I have also been in the process of looking for some good internships. Somewhere either in Boston, Washington D.C., or New York. I've come across a few, but nothing that just seems completely fabulous and suited for me.
So yes, here it is, this semester, confessions from a tired journalist.
