07.02 "Hello, Cruel World"
This season is so awesome!! I hope it continues on this trend.
I like that this season the episodes seem to be picking up right where the previous one left off. It makes for much better flow from episode to episode. The downside though is that every episode seems to end on a cliffhanger and then I have to wring my hands together until the new one airs and then wring them some more once it's done, heh.
Anyway, I digress. I thought this episode was great and there were a lot of things I enjoyed. For instance, the reappearance for Sheriff Mills. I like that they keep bringing her back and I hope we'll see more of her. I just hope they don't kill her off anytime, well, ever because I do enjoy her so.
Sam going crazy was awesome and well played. I love having Lucifer back and Sam doubting himself, and reality, is awesome. I love that Dean managed to bring him out of it at the end.
Now, onto the things I can't believe happened. Dudes, is Castiel really dead?!?! Because if that's the case, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this isn't the last we'll see of him. Misha Collins is just too good to kill off like that. It would not only break my heart but be a waste in my opinion. I loved how sad Dean was by his death when he fished his trench coat out of the river and folded it up so reverently. *sigh*
The other thing I couldn't believe was that they burned down Bobby's house!!! WTF!!!
Lastly, I'm loving the Leviathans. They're I think the best big bad we've had thus far and they honest to god creep me out. I love how they don't know much about humans, being as how they've been locked in purgatory for all these years. Them slowly learning about humans is both great from a story standpoint and creepy to boot, heh.
Anyway, great episode and I look forward to next week for that is the episode that Jensen Ackles directed if I'm not mistaken.
