So I'm currently re-watching Season 1 of Angel and Doyle has just died and now I'm sad all over again. Doyle was always my favorite character on Angel and I was so upset when he was killed off. I was even more devastated when Glenn Quinn passed away in real life just a few years after.
'Hero' and 'The Bachelor Party' are the only two real Doyle-centric episodes we got and it wasn't nearly enough. I'm so sad I never got to see him and Cordy hook up on the show. I think it would have been hilarious.
I've watched the first two episodes after Doyle was killed off and it's just not the same. It's going to take me a little while to get back into the flow. I do love that they kept Glenn's credits in 'Party Gifts' even though he'd been written out of the show. Although it always annoys me to see them replaced by Alexis' credits in the following episode.
Anyway, sorry for the rambling but I always get sad whenever I re-watch the first season of Angel.
