So the first week of class has come to an end. This week was quite overwhelming, but I'm glad. I like over-stimulation a lot better than under-stimulation. I've learned quite a few things in this past week. Let me share:

The Dining Hall:
The first day that the Scripps dining hall was open to all the colleges, boys flocked to it. As I was sitting in my Neuroscience class at 9:30 a.m on Thursday morning, a boy turns around and asks me: "This is an all girls school. Why are there more boys in the dining hall than girls?" Well, my reply: "Because every other guy had the exact same idea as you did: All Girls School! Let's go!"

Baking Cookies:
I've been trying to put my finger on what makes Scripps so darn special. What is it that is so special, about walking into the bathroom and hearing someone singing freely in the shower? Or walking by the living room and hearing beautiful music from the piano? Or even walking past the kitchen and smelling baking cookies.. and even better someone asking "Want one?".. Well let's think about this. We are all females. And I think the reason Scripps is so great because we are constantly being surrounded by wonderful women. All women who have this arduously strong motherly instinct. The instince to love and care and help. How can Scripps not be warm with the lot of women I've encountered in the last 2 weeks? Beats me!

Life is Great:
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Life is sexually transmitted.

# 1 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You read about all these terrorists, most of them came here legally, but they hung around on these expired visas, some >for as long as 10 - 15 years. Now, compare that to Blockbuster; you are two days late with a video and those people are all over you. I say we put Blockbuster in charge of immigration!
