Thank you, S. Yes, Taya is taking a tap/ballet class at our local community center. It just ended. I took that picture of them after their dance rehearsal. I'm so proud of her. You know, Taya has a bunch of anxieties, and sometimes it can be debilitating. She loved this class. She totally tested her boundaries--as far as not having me right there, and sometimes not even her best friend. She was trembling before her recital. She was nervous about the loud music, the dark theatre, the crowds of strangers, but she WANTED to do it. She never smiled, but performed beautifully. I'm so proud of her. :)

It's funny. Taya is not really an affectionate person. She's clingy in a nervous way, but not really affectionate. Lauren is, OMG, the most affectionate kid in the world. She's touchy-feely. It's so stinkin' cute how Lauren will just grab Taya all.of.the.time! :)
