I am briefly at my parents' house getting some laundry done and catching up with my dog. (Yes, the dog requires catching up with.) Perhaps I will steal some food from here to bring up to Jeni and me in the apartment ... *shifty eyes*
Good job to all of you who were in the Advanced Drama play. To those of you who didn't get a chance to catch it, you missed out on a dance-off between Prince and Elvis. It's good to know that drama kids are still just as screwy as when I left.
This morning/early afternoon was full of hiking goodness. I forgot how much I've missed it. Central Park is wonderful, but will never compare to making your way up a mountain. Mmmm, I need to do much more of that while I'm here.
HOLY GOD!!!! Newsbreak!!! While sitting here writing that I glanced over at my mum's wine rack, and it's EMPTY!!! This has NEVER happened before. I can see one bottle of half empty wine corked up in the kitchen, but that's all. What is this madness? Could it be that the nightly need to drink has been sated by having me live elsewhere? My lord .... I haven't seen that rack empty since ... since ... I was 7 maybe? Wow.
On my final completely unrelated point, babysitting Clara (Jen's one and a half year old sister) was awesome. That kid rocks. She's so much fun. And for anyone who was there, MY BIOLOGICAL CLOCK IS NOT TICKING! Damn you.
