so it is time for an update!!!
i wanted to wait until i had enough to write about so here i am.
thursday and friday woke up and went to skool and kendo. pretty good except on friday i totally had a problem with my graphing calculator. see it decided to be as bitch so i took out a battery and when i put it back in it said ram cleared which i came to find out meant it deleted my games. so that is 1 less thing i can do to keep busy in school until next yr when i can get them back.
saturday got to wake up late and talk to friends. later on we went to rent a movie for the next time we felt like watching 1. got home surprisingly late because after that i went to another temple. the thing is i didnt actually know we were going until we got there. so we did that whole meditation deal and my legs went absolutely numb. after we set off a bunch of fireworks and went home.
sunday i got to wake up late again and thank god bc it is really strenuous to try to understand all this. so like i said earlier we were gonna go back to the ramen place so i could eat the really spicy ramen. so we went and it was pretty fucking spicy esp. this 1 red pepper that they put in there cause i took a bite out of it as a joke and my mouth like burnt for 20 mins. so they video taped little parts and i took a picture of the ramen and such so you will know what it is supposed to look like. afterwards my host mother dropped my host sister and me off at a book store so we could look at manga and suchwhat. the place was called book off and they sell some used stuff and new stuff. so i bought 3 cds and 1 manga for about 10 american dollars. btw savvy they were all l`arc en ciel cds so when u read this i know ull be thrilled. after that we pretty much just went home and suchwhat.
mondays are still hate worthy in japan becuase of school but luckily that was my last monday of school. i go the rest of this week and then we have a 3 day weekend and then a tuesday and a half day wednesday before their summer vacation. btw their summer vacation sux bc 1 they have a lot of homework and 2 bc they have a lot of hmwk they split it into two and go back to school and then go back on vacation with more homework.
today was geijutsukanshou which in english is an artistic or cultural day. basically we had school for a half day and then went to see a play which was about helen keller. having had the story drilled into my head at a young age i could understand what was going on and was able to understand a lot of it. the thing about the whole play thing is that they push these kids so hard that when u sit them down with the lights off they pretty much immediately fall asleep. so i think everyone in there fell asleep at one point including myself. i missed near the end but was awake for the majority of it. so we actually walked to the theatre cause its close to the school and on the way there and back i had a good time talking with my friends and shit. it was a lot of fun and i was able to have the conversation in mostly japanese. they like to user english so when they do that i normally help em out or respond in english.
so on another note i have a lot of time to think here bc that is what i do when im bored out of my mind in some of those classes. thinking about college and shit like that and realizing that im a senior now and in a year i will be getting ready to head off to 1 of my colleges (crosses fingers).
so im off to go do japanese things some more which means i will talk with everyone later. oh btw post more bc i read these things a lot and well to be honest its what i do during some of the classes i am totally lost in bc i go to the computer lab. peace all
