I'm going to try and keep this thing up to date, I've been doing a decent job of it for... A week >.<. Now I intend to try and say something at least once every 2 weeks (I have low standards, okay?).
Anyway, things have sped up a bit lately! Project after project has been assigned and I have a bit of a busy weekend ahead of me as I need to finish a few assignments and celebrate my Grandmother's 80th with the family.
One project in particular is interesting me: I've been studying and adding onto the newton physics engine as a part of my game engine design class and it is -fun-. I love working on the insides of the engine and it seems I'm not too bad at it. At first, I thought the free-form style of the class would be a hindrance but the professor seems quite able to help and teach while allowing us to make up our own projects (Within limits, of course). I plan to delve into more than just the physics part of this project, I'd really like to take a look at the code for the rendering loop which is where my graphics class will come in handy. Anyway, suffice to say I really like at least 2 of my programming classes. Software engineering looks like it'll be fun later on, but for now we're just looking over UML.
