If it turned out that being a homosexual (and, conversely, a heterosexual) is, in fact, a choice... would your views on how people should be treated change?
I ask this because every time I hear someone even imply that it might be a choice, they're labeled a terrible person. I don't feel that it being a choice would be such a terrible thing, personally. I think that, if it were a choice, those who chose to be homosexuals would be choosing a lifestyle that is just as valid as heterosexuals. There has to be a reason, however, that people are so adverse to it being labeled a choice and so I'd like to hear especially from people who have this opinion.
Let me note that I do not feel that it is [i]entirely[/i] a choice. Other factors have their place in making the final determination.
This isn't meant to be a flame journal, I am genuinely looking for opinions. if you have one, please share :)
