Another One In The Books.

I am almost halfway through this whole "college" thing. It's an odd feeling, because I remember sitting in shop class in 6th grade thinking that I'd be graduating high school in only 6 years. Flash ahead 8 years, and here I am. An RA at a very reputable school, who is getting good grades and staying out of trouble (for the most part).

I just finished my last room check by myself, and tonight I get to do them all over again with either the RD or ARD. But, we do get pizza. So that's rawk. This semester has definitely been a mixed bag of events. Some good, some great, others bad, and some that were downright shitty. I've met many awesome new friends, and a good number of assholes along the way. Being an RA is hard, and finding time to relax is even harder, but I think I did a good enough job. Whatever I did wrong this semester, I can always improve upon come Spring.

Gradewise, there is another great chance that I will make Dean's List. That would keep the streak intact. If this does happen, that will be my greatest scholastic accomplishment to date. I would have never thought that I could be in this position.

Next semester is somewhat in the air. I have all my classes set, and some may drain the life out of me (ie Research Mothods). This class is going to suck. Everyone who has taken it despises it, but it is required. The only saving grace would be if Scott and Chris are in this class, and I think they are. The one class I am really excited for is Issues In Sports Media. Enough said. I am also going to be looking for a job. Preferrably, Best Buy or Blockbuster. I need to save up for some things. Can you say iPod?

I need to go home, sleep, and not hear nagging for awhile. But I'm sure my parents will gladly nag when need be. I need to have Christmas and get presents, cause I'm feeling especially selfish this Holiday Season. Maybe my job won't be as bad as I thought it would be, but that's still To Be Determined. There are also a few other things that might turn out really well, and I'm excited to see what happens.

Hopefully, we'll be re-doing my bedroom and making it more presentable so I can make tons of babies on it with Rick and Glenn. And then, we'll eat those babies cause babies are delicious. Toddlers are a delicacy in Quebec. Ask any hockey player or Grizzly Bear.

I have no idea who I am going to see over break...It'll be determined when the time comes. Some people have tried reaching out to me, and I really don't know why. I'm not a big fan of second chances anymore. Or third.

Adam Jared Young, also known as "Quarters", left us all for good. He's transferring to a school closer to his home in that state that has Boston in it. We have had many good times together, and this is little paragraph. I remember when we were in Sheahan last year for the "hip-check incident", when he assaulted all those kids at the Armor For Sleep show, and when we did the creepy man hugs. Good times, Quarters...Good times. You'll be missed, but we'll see you when you're working the Pike. That is my ode to him.

See everyone else in Mid-January.

Have a shitty Christmas, but a splendid Kwanzaa!
