oh today
today... what a day...
i woke up nice and early and painted all morning... it was crazy hot out. then right before rick got to my house to pick me up i was workin on my kart and decided to start it up because i guess my new tach. isnt working right... the engine temp. thing zeros out after about 5 seconds but it was working earlier. rick got there and i needed his help moving everything and i finally got it fired up and dammit! the fixing it didnt help. i think the wires are crossing.
so rick and i got to the school and then we realized we never got the new music from rick rogers so we went back to my house to print copies of water is wide and get the rest of the music to practice... only wait... rick rogers hasnt started writing the rest of the show yet! hes been busying putting in a fence all week... thats amazing! last year we didnt get music until band camp... but thats because we got a new instructor for band camp... now we wont get 2/3 of the music until band camp and thats because our instructor is flat out lazy. end of story. so we just practiced warmups and my technique. then we went and got dinner and went to ricks to burn a cd and swung by and grabbed alyssa on our way (for those of you that dont know we made it official or whatever you want to call it yesterday so woo! go me).
practice went pretty well tho (atleast i thought so). kevin i guess dropped off his uniform and stuff cuz if you didnt know... well... kevin quit cuz kevin got a job. thats cool but i guess hoffman sent in the numbers some time last week... and that included kevin... cool. but yeah practice... ummm... instructorless again for what? the 4th time out of 5 tuesdays? AWESOME! did alot of marching basics which was good for me and the rest of the line for that matter... we should be decent this year.
after practice it hit me for the first or second time... im gonna be a senior this year... its weird... i want my senior year to start and be over but at the same time i dont want it to too.
