i have great news, as you all have read i got a job at starbucks, but i wasn't thrilled because the pay is shitty, and i know i can make more money serving, but i have had no luch in finding a server job that works with my availability. well i have been working at starbucks all week, and their 9 day training program blows! needless to say i have been miserable. well when i was at my starbucks training school on tuesday i saw this really nice looking restuarant called John Martin's Irish Pub and Restuarant. it was in the nice part of town and it was obvioulsly an upscale irish pub, very similar to Dwyers. so i today for shits and giggles i call to see if they are hiring, and they were, so i went down there and i go inside and it looks jsut like dwyers on the inside, its two stories and has a full bar and a little stage on the first floor for live entertainment. so i fill out the application, and i get hired on the spot, i told them all about dwyers, and they lady was like thats great. so then she asked why i moved to miami, and i told her that i go to New World, and shes like OMG my daughter just started in the high school last year for theatre, and i was OMG i am going to be a sophomore in musical theatre in the college! so then i told her about russia and she was like thats great. so i start monday at 10:00 and train for 5 days, then i am on my own, and then i go to russia and when i come back i work whatever she needs for the month of august, and then when school starts she said we can set up a schedule that works with New World! i think i may have finally found a job i can stick with in this town, i am so excited and i can't wait to make money. the restuarant is actually right across the street from the actors playhouse which is fun. the actors playhouse is a really great theatre, thats where the little shop revival originated and went straight to Broadway from that theatre. there;s a fun little fact for ya! even though i heard the revival sucked when it was on Broadway, its still a fun story to tell. well thats all for now, i hope everyone is doing great!
