Yay for Christmas break!!!
As much as i adored Hurricane Wilma for the mere fact that it allowed me to stay home for another week with my family and friend, the post-hurricane season just plain sucks. My teachers piled double the amount of work in less days because of the missed classes and its just plain crazines. I've been doing really well and handling it though. I've gotten ton done! But, alas, i have sooooo much more to do and time is quickly winding down.
Tomorrow i'm giving my speech on Animal Shelters vs. Pet Stores, then after my classes i'm sprinting back to my room to keep digging into my homework pile, Saturday i'm working! Yeeeah i have to be there for 6 in the freakin morning! I won't get back until around 6. Sunday is a rest day and MAJOR work on my humanities project, which is due Monday. Tuesday is when i turn in my fallacies paper, Wednesday-Thursday i am getting my RH worksheets done to turn in on friday (these worksheets are hell you have no idea). Then i might be working Friday, Saturday, or Sunday- maybe one day but maybe all three. Then i have finals to study for that are the next week.
Oh yeah...then i get to come home!!!! And see my baby<3
I am really excited about my job. The animals are so fun and the pay is great. The distance is still a hassle but i'm finding i can bribe people pretty easily to take me. I had a staff meeting/dinner at the owner's house (they are awesome- just a regular family in the animal business) and i got to meet all the other staff and such. I was surprised at how young most of the people are. I can't wait to get paaaaid!
There is tons and tons of drama and mayhem that i will be arriving into when i go home. Blah it's so frustrating that i can't stand it. Hopefully everything works out for the best and i won't have to lose my temper on anyone (grrrrrrr be frightened)
My mom is getting surgery three days before i arrive home so please please please keep her in your prayers. She's actually looking forward to it because afterwards she will have much better health and she won't be sick all the time. I'm happy cuz i'll get to take care of her and not have to be all the way down in Florida worrying my butt off about her.
I miss my friends so much- just two more weeks!!!
