Land of Art had a challenge in which we took two characters from fandom and sorted them in Hogwarts houses! Cap and Iron Man were my first choices but they got taken so I bring you these two gentlemen instead :)

Thor from the Marvel Universe and Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds.

“Courage is Immortal”
When one has the powers of a god, courage might become something debatable. However, upon losing the power of Mjolnir, Thor becomes a far braver, better, more Gryffindor-like man. While it is his duty to protect Asgard, his desire and eventual decision to protect Midgard comes from a courageous and unendingly sincere love of its people and creations. In the Ultimate Avengers, Thor is seen to be an environmental and liberal activist, trying to use his powers for the best of mortal life. Though he unarguably begins as the boisterous bully archetype, seen in the books in the forms of James Potter and Sirius Black, he grows throughout his stay on earth in all incarnations. He is a being who abhors war but will never flee from battle. He is a quintessential Gryffindor.

“I don’t believe in the concept of genius.”
Spencer Reid, despite his protests, is a genius. Not only that but an erudite one who actively seeks out new knowledge in his pursuit to save others. Whereas a Gryffindor would be equally quick to rush to the aid of innocent lives in distress, Spencer uses his logic and intelligence to save lives, even if this means abandoning logical attempts and using sincere appeals to emotion and putting his life in danger. His own eccentricities are also an eccentricity. Over all, Spencer has an intelligence that goes beyond that possessed by most Ravenclaws: he knows when to follow his heart instead of his mind.
