1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
I fell madly in love in 2002, and continued it onward for 11 strong months before it ended

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any and I still won't

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I recall

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, my Uncle Delray (aka Uncle "Mutt") died in September, that was fairly rough

5. what countries did you visit?
Ohh jeez, Canada, France, Italy

6. what would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Another strong relationship, not that it lacked, but it's over, and I would like another

7. what date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 12, the day my last "true" relationship ended

8. what was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making it 11 months with someone, which I never thought could have been possible

9. what was your biggest failure?
Listening to my initial thoughts, and reacting without thinking about the consequences of my actions before acting without thinking

10. did you suffer illness or injury?
Mental retardation, which still seems to follow me daily ;)

11. what was the best thing you bought?
I don't know. The keys to David's heart seems like the best thing I had

12. whose behaviour merited celebration?
Everyone's. I partied a lot in 2003

13. whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My own; It both apalled me and made me depressed

14. where did most of your money go?
My drinking habit that I once held. 40% or so of it went to rent probably

15. what did you get really, really, really excited about?
My trip to Paris, but I was rather selfish to go, now that I think about it.

17. compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Sadder in some senses, happier in others
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner by far, probably by 15 lbs
iii. richer or poorer? Richer, but no, probably not

18. what do you wish you'd done more of?
I wish I would have used that thing in your head that you think with a lot more often. I made some rather poor decisions last year

19. what do you wish you'd done less of?
Drinking, it accomplished nothing in the end. I could have used that money to buy something nice for someone

20. how will you be spending christmas?
Dude, that was like 2 weeks ago

22. did you fall in love in 2003?
I was already in love, but I fell even more in love everyday I was with that person

23. how many one-night stands?
Stupid question. None, cause I maintain contact with people, unlike a one night stand

24. what was your favourite TV program?
Queer as Folk probably

25. do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is a strong word, that I refuse to use unless I really mean it

26. what was the best book you read?
Last year, I did not read.

27. what was your greatest musical discovery?
Guster probably, though it was probably only a discovery to me, I found out about Maroon 5 in like January 2002. So yeah, eat me pop culture.

28. what did you want and get?
Life isn't about what you want and get, it't about what you need and get. I got what I deserved and needed.

29. what did you want and not get?
More time with Dave

30. what was your favourite film of this year?
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and the whole damn trilogy

31. what did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 21, and I went to eat with my parents, cause Dave had to work I think. I cant remember

32. what one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Bah on this question

33. how would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Wear what I want, though I have just about perfected my fashion look for 2004

34. what kept you sane?
Love and my friends (Christopher)

35. which celebrity/public figure did you follow the most?
I hate the idea of making idols out of celebrities. I followed the president to see what else he could possibly screw up

36. what political issue stirred you the most?
Still fighting for gay marriage here. Thanks

37. who did you miss?
My friends that I slowly lost contact with. Revamping those friendships as we speak.

38. who was the best new person you met?
New Person? I have no idea. I dont recall meeting anyone that stood out like that, maybe Andrew, but I knew him like 2 years ago.

Think, then act. End of story.
