Oh my god... oh my god.. I'm buying a PMU foal guys. No, I'm serious, and I can't believe it!

It's kind of a long story. SOS has organized a truck to deliver a load of horses from two or three PMU farms to the island. STUPID ME I looked and fell in love with a stud colt. The days went on and nobody was adopting him, so I started to panic for him. I felt so deflated and heartbroken when I talked myself out of getting him last night.. I was sure I couldn't do it.

Then PEOPLE (ie: GERRI, Peggy, Cheri, Rachel and yes, even DAD) started putting ideas in my head. I just finished a long conversation with dad, turns out I have at least $2500 I didn't know about that keeps growing as it's in some crazy investment thing. I'm going to put the money I have from my french grandparents in an investment thing too so I can take out of there if I need to. Peggy phoned me this morning and made me an offer- her and her family are going on vacation for 10 days in April and they'll pay me $50 a day to look after the dogs and horses. She's also giving me her van all pumped full of gas to drive there and back. So that's $500, and she said she can give it to me now to pay for the colt as long as I'm sure I can do it.
Gerri said she could hire me to shovel shit for her again for more income, Cheri said I could keep the colt at her place until March when Tessa leaves in exchange for training Niko and Pepsi. I'm getting maybe $300-400 of birthday money from dad and grandma to go towards trailering/coggins testing fees. And me and Gerri's stuff that we ordered got sent to the wrong place so I think we're getting a refund on shipping, which means I get $50 back. *woot*

I now have a Canucks Naslund jersey for sale, and a SIGNED Habs Koivu jersey. *poke* Somebody buy them. If all goes well that'll get me $480. And if my fucking saddle ever sells that's another $250. I'm considering selling my team Finland jerseys...

So I'm pretty overwhelmed right now.. I CAN DO IT!!! The barn's going up soon (hopefully.. *knock on wood*), and we're going to extend the paddock a bit so that I can have a third seperate area and continue bringing horses here for training. Although I think I could keep the colt with Hank and Shurman eventually. Like, when he's gelded. I may have to sacrifice showing Hank.. maybe.

I'm having him put 'on hold' for me until I can get the $525 together to pay for him.

I'm actually in tears right now. I always said I was going to get a PMU baby one day but I didn't think it would be so soon. I've always looked at pmu babies but I never wanted one like I do this one. I'm actually going to have my very own to raise and train myself <3
Only BAD thing is now I can't buy Misty.. but I talked to Gerri and told her that, she said she's planning on keeping Misty for a long time yet. She's gonna start riding her next summer! So it's okay, Misty is still like half mine anyways.

HOLY FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING! ...

So, the goods. Yes. He is a *drumroll* Morgan/Canadian/Belgian cross. Expected to finish at 15.2hh, and 1500lbs!!! How awesome is that! He's perfect! Then I'll have a REAL tank. On a good day Shurman is only MAYBE 1100lbs.
And his pic- I'm pretty sure he's the little one on the left. Having that clarified right now as the description says he's the one on the right.. but I'm pretty sure the one on the right is the dam. That would suck if it wasn't.

So... any name suggestions? XD
