WHAT A DAY
First:
I got out of the shower to find one of my four cats having kittens, in a box, in my bedroom. I was the midwife for four kittens. It was totally gruesome and I never want to witness kitten birth again.
Second:
The mother of the new mother (complicated family ties) decided to bring home a bird as a present to the new mother. I opened the door because my mom screamed, and she scampered right on in the house with her bird. Then the bird got out of her mouth and was flying around and went in the bathroom. I closed the door and I got trapped in the bathroom with the bird while it was going crazy. Oh my god it was crazy. I opened the door and the bird flew out. All in a matter of 5 minutes!! So crazy, thought I'd share.
