Gasoline and zip ties

Apr 12, 2010 00:06

I finally reached a point in the restoration of my motorcycle that I was ready to put some gas in the tank and see if the engine would at least try to struggle to life for me. I put in the battery, and I think I have the wiring harness hooked up roughly as it should be, with the caveat that I'm not worrying about getting the electric start to work just yet. So battery in, wires connected, gas in tank, gas on cylinder, gas on floor, Audrey worried... Wait...

So to make a not-so-long story short, the carburetor was spraying gas and missing parts. I ordered a new one.

I also finally acquired some longer zip ties, for various reasons.
