Shinkin': Flexibility with non-reserved?
Hey all, I saw there were some questions answered already about Shinkansen, but I didn't get quite the definitive answer I wanted. XD
So let me explain/ask: I am going up to Tokyo next weekend, and I have Shink tickets for Friday evening. They're non-reserved; I usually get reserved but I wanted to give it a try and save a few yen.
So it happens that I wanted to get up there a little earlier in the evening if possible (same day). There's nothing printed on my ticket as far as which trains I can use, other than the 2-day limitation, so am I correct in assuming that I can just pop onto an earlier train without any problem?
