Hello all! :)
I'm going to apply for JET this year and I had a quick question that maybe you guys could help me with:
I was looking over the requirements for filling out the application and came across the part for "Proof of Study Abroad". It says I need the transcripts from all of the classes I took, grades earned, dates attended etc. etc.
I studied at a very small language school in the north of Spain. At the end of my classes (which lasted a month), I got a piece of paper saying "You've completed this course". There are no grades and the classes I took didn't have names (basically, we just sat around and spoke Spanish with a teacher).
My question is, should bother including this in my application? I don't know if I could get a "transcript" from this small little school because 1) I took these classes in 2005 and 2) I doubt they keep records (it's Spain, after all :P).
If I leave it out of my application and I'm granted an interview, would I be disqualified on not being "truthful" about this if I make mention of it?
I know I might just be reading too much into this, but I want to include my "study abroad" experience on the application...but it wasn't really a standard experience.
Thanks for reading! :D
