Translation Question

This question was on a test for my 1st year junior high students. I believe it was an official test produced by the textbook company. I didn't see it until today when we returned the test and gave out answer sheets. Without any context, how would you translate this sentence, "それは大きい国です" from Japanese to English?

(For those whose computers are Japanese challenged, it's "Sore wa okii kuni desu.")
