WARNING: Bitching ensues
Okay, so I have two things to bitch about.
First, I was trying to talk to Adam (via text) about Mike because I've lately been super confused about what exactly he wants. Then he says something to the effect of "You're white, he's black, I don't want to hear about it." What the hell? Apparently he won't listen to anything I have to say about Mike simply because he's black. He even said that he'd listen to anything I had to say about him if he were white. How does someone grow up in this century (well, last century) and become that racist?!?!?! Seriously, the dude's skin color is different...get over it! But then Adam told me that he was entitled to his opinion, and I told him I don't care about his opinion, but that he should be able to set that aside to listen to his supposed friend. Dude, I used to listen to him bitch ALL THE TIME about his girlfriends who I didn't like, but did I say anything? No, because I'm more mature than that! So I guess maybe we're not gonna be friends anymore because he got pissed, claiming that I was saying his opinion is wrong and mine is right. The sad thing is, I'm not sure if I care if we're friends anymore. I mean, if he can't get over someone's skin color, what's going to happen if I ever start dating someone who's not white? BAh!
Okay, so the other thing I have to bitch about is a school thing. So for my Ed Psych class, we go over to a magnet school across the street just about every week and we're working on a project with the kids. I combined my group with someone else, since there are only 3-4 kids in each group...we both figured it would be easier that way. So anyhow, we tried to get together the Friday before break to come up with a plan of attack for class that day. We were supposed to meet right before we go over to the school, and she didn't show up, claiming she had overslept but her hair and makeup was done all nice (and she had gone out dancing the night before because she had Xs on her hands). So then we were going to meet up over break, and she never called me like she said she would, so I ended up texting her, and she still never got back to me. So then I was sick the first part of last week, and she called me and we decided to meet before class this last Friday. She didn't show AGAIN!!! So I was really frustrated, and talked to the professor and told her everything that's going on and she said that I could split my group off if I wanted, but I think it's too late for that. So I just sent this girl an email telling her that we need to meet and that I'm really pissed about her not showing up the last two times we set up meetings, so we'll see what happens. She'll probably talk shit about me and be a bitch to me, but I don't really care anymore...I won't have to deal with her anymore after this class is over, since I'm graduating! But seriously, how can you be almost 21 and not be able to keep appointments (and for stupid reasons). I mean, I could totally understand if she was sick or something, but oversleeping both times is lame!
