CL Fail and Crafting with Herpes

OK, I should just take the damn ad down. The latest response is someone I've done activist/organizing work with, using his first and last name, describing in detail what he wants, and its all pretty weird. Ha, whats a sex-positive response that isn't "thanks for responding but no thanks. And really? I'm not judging you, I'm just a little surprised. Lets never talk about this again."

In other news, I've picked up a new hobby: embriodery! Its really fun. I've noticed a theme among my projects. They all tend to be a means of me externalizing some problem. My first big work was an Anatomy Coloring Book illustration of the neck muscles that I injured. Now I'm embroidering roaches onto kitchen textiles because I can't seem to get rid of my roaches, so I figure I should make them a part of my decorating scheme. I'm rockin' a constellation of cold sores on my face, and my first reaction (well, after "now I'm REALLY not going to get any CL play") was "how am I going to express this via stitches?"

Maybe I'll just stitch the word HERPES onto a patch that I could wear whenever I find myself in this state. If I'm going to look like a walking vector of disease, I might as well own it.
