best quote of the weekend, "that is the most emo kid on campus. LOOK did you see that?! he just pushed his hair back into his face.

+ hartford this weekend with kaylin berry to visit rel on her 20th birthday dressed in 80's style clothing for rel's awesome 80's birthday bash.
- heat and humidity sucked.
- no air conditioning aloud in the village dorms due to fire codes and safety regulations.
+ rel and co. had fans blowing instead which kinda helped us stay cool.
+ watched last weeks episode of the oc, rachel bilson is fucking HOT!
+ got hungry and went into town to get some friendly's.
- awful smell from inside friendly's that kinda ruined out appetites.
+ semi awesome thunder storm from hurricane ophelia came through which made the humidity drop and the temperature a bit cooler.
- got back on campus where there was no power/electricity in the village dorms due to the storm.
- we all got bored because there is really nothing you can do during a blackout.
- the heat started to come back which sucked, again.
- the fans that kinda helped us stay cool from earlier, obviously, couldn't work.
+ getting dark so we played a card game before we left for cvs and target to get flashlights and 80's neon glowing bracelets and necklaces.
- got back to the campus in hopes that the power came back... it didn't.
+ got ready for rel's 80's BLACKOUT birthday bash.
+ people started to show up.
+ some beer pong was played.
- and then safety patrol decided to join the party by instating that everyone in the village section of campus had to leave their rooms because of fire issues. since there was still no power and god forbid a fire broke out there would be no way for safety patrol to get in contact with people incase of an evacuate.
- party ended early and everybody had to find somewhere on or off campus to spend the night.
- stood outside the dorm in the dark.
- bitched for a good 45 minutes debating on weather to stay on campus or leave school grounds.
+ we left school grounds to find a nice air conditioned hotel.
+ we went to the marriott hotel in farmington.

everything bad just got better:
+ walked through the hotel lobby and smelled chlorine so we knew there was a pool somewhere near by.
+ ran into a wedding party and a bot-mitzvah at the marriott.
+ walking through the lobby, people found us amusing because we were all dressed in 80's style clothing.
+ checked in and two hotel rooms only cost us $20 bucks each.
+ scott played donnie darko's "mad world" on the hotel lobby piano and we all sang along.
+ got to our rooms at the end of the hall and started to drink our left over alcohol.
+ got burger king.
+ we all made our way down to the hotel ballroom where the bot-mitzvah was taking place.
- cheryl and rel tried sneaking into the bot-mitzvah by dancing their way onto the dance floor when these two black people told them to leave.
+ courtney and i separated from the rest of the group in search for the swimming pool.
- we saw the swimming pool through some window but didn't know how to get to it.
+ low and behold we stumbled our way into the pool area and snuck in.
+ courtney and i went into the pool when cheryl, patrick, and, ryan walked by and saw us swimming they told the rest of the group and before we knew it, all 12 of us snuck into the pool area.
indoor swimming pool + hot tub = fun!
+ the night with a game of kings, and then we passed the FUCK out.
that was our weekend of fun... in somewhat of a nutshell.
~cheers!
