smoked by a fixie

There are now two boys on fixies on my commute - one rides a Surly Steamroller and the other rides some kind of conversion - an Avanti flat bar which looks pretty new. They were scary in the wet - backpedal, skid, skid, skid! But their riders smoke me on the commute. I guess it is cos they can't coast so they can't be lazy
