Sprint Tri

There is a sprint tri on in October in Kal - 200m swim, 2k run, 9k ride.... it will be a couple of weeks after we get back and since I don't have my brake levers yet, I don't think the conversion on my bike will be done so I'm not going to be the most competitive. I am a crap swimmer, and I can run 2ks so the bike leg will be my most competitive, but not if I don't have drops! Anyway I've decided to give it a go, which means that running has to happen. I am planning on running regularly on our road trip anyway - I'm bringing my hiking boots and my joggers. I'm not sure how much of a chance I'm going to get to do resistance training, but I'm going to take the resistance band I've got, and I'll probably do some work with water bottles or something. I will also get a tennis ball to squeeze for grip strength. I'm starting to get my grip strength back now which is great!

So - a run tomorrow and maybe a swim on Sunday. Then resistance training again on Monday.
