gastronimical issues

i'm not sure what's happening. over the past two weeks, i've been eating muesli cereal for breakfast day after day without actually hating it. salads are also now an acceptable main dish for lunch (and dinner). and the best part of my lowenschnitzel wasn't the pork schnitzel, but the few measly leaves of rocket and baby spinach drenched in dressing.

there was a time when i wouldn't touch anything that had mayo or dijon mustard in it. now, i would order anything on the premise that it had mayo and mustard as a sauce, topping or dip.

my aversion to cheese is still pretty much prevalent though. prawns made the cut in 2003, pork became okay to order in 2004, and i guess salads are now redeemed for 2007. but the following is a list of food types i'm still not down with:

1) lamb
2) beef/veal (includes meatballs, sausages etc.)
3) cheese
4) oysters/mussels (except the one at thai ploy bondi beach)
5) celery
6) lasagna
7) capsicum
8) eggplant
9) raw tomatoes
10) white and dark chocolate
