on healthy bank accounts and malaysian chinese people

should i be worried that i haven't bought an item of clothing for about 2 weeks now? (please, spare me the '2 weeks isn't long!' exclaim)

my bank account is looking relatively healthy of late, with a steady monthly increase in my savings. i'm not really much of a saver, but as the amount in my netbank saver increases, i actually become more reluctant to dip into it. this money was originally intended for an eventual life-changing decision to move to somewhere, but i think the fund now deserves a new name. i would like to be able to finance my labor of love - a film project or something.

if you must know, i'm listening to some canto-pop at this very moment. i love being chinese, did i tell you that? chinese people are great. they are sensible in money matters, pragmatic in their views of the world, innovative in reinterpreting western inventions and selling them at ridiculous prices (payback for ripping off our paper idea), and we are as hardy as an annoying weed. basically, chinese people rule ok? especially malaysian chinese people*. seriously!

i guarantee that you'll love (nearly) every malaysian chinese you meet. but should you find fault with any malaysian chinese, please direct those complaints to me so i can help address your concerns as to why they behave in that particular way. sometimes it's only a matter of understanding how their gears work. certainly, we are a loveable bunch and plus, we make great lovers too (well i speak for myself at least).

so yeah, go get your own malaysian chinese friend today!

*applies only to a certain strata of people in malaysian society. unfair generalizations must be acknowledged i suppose.
