My Past Life
Don't go bananas - in your former life you were a tiny monkey named Oompa. Here's what we know about you: Adorably sweet demeanor and sharp as a tack, you found success working with a street performer named Juan, who worshipped you and treated you like his own child. He bought you a gold satin jumpsuit with royal blue ruffles, a matching top hat, and a sequined bag for donations. He would play your favorite disco tunes on his accordion, prompting you to dance around and flirt with the crowd while you collected spare change and picked pockets. Everybody loved you. And you loved everybody. You and Juan took your gig around the country and raked in the riches. You were one happy little monkey.
My Loony Factor
To borrow a phrase from Forrest Gump, loony is as loony does. You know how true that is - in fact, you've embraced it. Because while you certainly have your moments of insanity, you know when to say when. Sure, you get a kick out of occasionally doing and saying things other people think are goofy or off-the-wall - you're a real sucker for being the center of attention now and again - but there are plenty of times when you'd just as soon be calmer and more serious. The same goes for expressing your emotions. No stranger to strong feelings, you choose your battles and control your highs and lows, saving your emotional outbursts for when you need them most. After all, fun and craziness are all well and good, in the right time and place, but balancing your "up" and "down" times earns you more respect in the long run. Not nearly as nutty as a fruitcake - but maybe giving Pralines 'n' Cream a run for its money - you're the perfect mix of impulse and restraint.
I am afraid of: Moving forward...
Have you ever noticed that you're more concerned about making the "right" decisions than many people around you when it comes to your future? Or do you sometimes worry more than you should about committing to your personal or professional goals or feel anxious that you'll never really be successful? If so, you're not alone. There are many people who share your fear of moving forward.
It can be a real strength to recognize your fears. By being aware of the things that frighten you, you can assess whether fear is helping you or negatively impacting your life. For instance, a fear of moving forward may sometimes motivate you to take action in a positive way, like by experiencing a wider variety of things than others.
However, fear's negative aspects can sometimes be more damaging than you realize. Living with fear not only prevents you from living life to the fullest; it can also have a significant negative impact on your energy, health, and your close relationships if not kept in check.
Am I a slacker?
Congratulations for having your life on track. Slacking is definitely not your style. It's a wonder you found any time to take this test! As the anti-slacker, you probably don't feel comfortable leaving tasks unfinished. Tackling projects and chores as they present themselves is a great way to keep your life free of clutter. You exercise a lot of control over your life. Most likely, you'd rather handle something yourself than leave the responsibility to someone else. Your friends and coworkers value your efficiency and reliability. They probably turn to you if they have an event to plan or deadlines to meet. You might be the kind of person who tries to do everything at once.
Best quality: How determined I am...
The fact that you're a person with a strong will who is typically determined to follow through on difficult demands and meet important goals really draws people to you! But that's not the only thing. Your answers on the test indicate you're a person who is curious, loves to experiment, and tries new things. You are a reliable and dependable person whom others can usually count on, too.
In all, there are 15 qualities that help define you when you're at your best. Those are the traits potential employers, friends, and partners look for in you. What makes you unique is your particular distribution of those 15 qualities.
We've found that your particular combination of qualities is rare - only 1 in 10,000 people share the same general mix of traits. Those are great odds if you're trying to show a potential employer, colleague, friend, or date why you're exactly the right person for them.
