From what I remember, this is the smallest primate in the world. It's a pygmy somethingerother... I think it's 25% rat, 25% human, and 50% evil.

All shots are from Digital Rebel, Canon 50mm f/1.8 II, at 1600 ISO

While I was killing time for Susan to get off work, I took myself to the Vancouver Aquarium. I haven't been in years, but I thought it might be fun. It was, though adult admission is a steep 17 dollars. That aside, they have some outstanding aquarium exhibits. What I have here doesn't show you the scope of the aquarium, only a select amount that I was interested in capturing with my 50mm lens.

This is a pirahna. The gold flecks on its side struck me, and the way they appear stationary in the water except for the small movement of their gills.

This is in the underwater viewing area of the beluga whale tank.

this is the sort of animal that made this trip worthwhile. I got this shot after several dozen failures, after a second visit to the tank he was in before the aquarium's closing. It was 1/40th sec., w/mirror lockup.

I also caught plenty of Stanley Park scenery; I felt like a tourist in my own home... also found a great place to smoke weed.
