You say goodbye I say hello
It's been awhile. Though I can't really say that I've missed it, which is not to say I haven't posted in awhile out of spite or something ridiculous like that.
Most(if not all) of my past postings on here have either been oriented towards self-pity or desperate grabs at getting attention in a vain attempt to relieve self-imposed lonliness. And although I am far from perfect I feel that I've at least passed that and am eager to move on. I don't plan to be posting here much more though I'll check LJ every now and then.
Lately I've been spending a lot of my time reading, writing, and drawing. I've also had the good fortune of having someone to talk to almost everyday and often being able to enjoy their company as well. She's the best friend I've ever had and although she may or may not realize it she is slowly eroding away my fear and bitter hatred of the human species and also that of my own self.
Hope this didn't come across as a "holier than thou" thing, don't think it did... but I'd rather come across as awkward than an ass-hole so apologies if I did.
Anyways, although it's easy to say, I mean it when I say I love and miss you all very much and hope you're all having a great summer!
