I've really been thinking about a lot of my fellow christians that i know. we all went to CIY and all those youth group things this summer, we made commitments to God, and now what? nothings changed for some of them. it is very hard seeing the same people in church that you do at school. it makes me sad, because our youth group needs guys to step

The youth group will be fine when I leave. We've put too much time into this group to let it fall apart. Even though, I won't be around as much, I will still be around for you guys. I wish Chris C. came around more often to see us. I'm sure he has his reasons, though. I'm just saying. Hopefully, I will be able to still do some things with my best friends in the coming years. If Chris or Ian doesn't step up into the leader slot, you and Torie might have to. You girls can be such great examples for them, just like you are now. You fit in with our group so well and they listen to you when you speak. Not only that, but the youth group respects you, too. I see so much maturity in you. You care about the things that God cares about. That's why I'm not worried. You're a special girl, Sarah. Don't forget that.
